Youth and Music at First Pres

Age: Grades 6-8

Rehearsal: Wednesday nights, in coordination with youth fellowship

Music for youth:

A wide variety of traditional and contemporary sacred music from many cultures and countries

The youth have been active in the music ministry, participating in worship and other church programming.

Presented choral music as part of the worship liturgy
Participated in Christmas pageants
Planned and led worship on youth Sunday
Performed music for musicals, variety shows and dinner theatres such as "Hee-Haw"
Occasionally combined with children and adult choirs for festival Sundays
