Soaring ceilings and soft light filtering through stained glass invite you to quiet your spirit and enter God's holy presence. Worship is at the heart of our experience as a congregation. While mission, education and fellowship are essential to the life of First Presbyterian, it is through worship that we encounter the grace of God that empowers all that we do.
In 1999 our congregation made a conscious decision to remain in "the heart of the city" and as part of that effort, the church went through an intensive study and discussion of how we worship together as the body of Christ in this place. You will find that we seek to center the elements of any worship experience around the Word of God revealed in scripture, drawing from the best that both ancient and more modern forms of worship have to offer.
