Evening Book Group
The Evening Book Club’s choice for January is Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson. Set primarily in 1954 on an island in Puget Sound, this award-winning work is at various moments a courtroom drama, an interracial love story, and a war chronicle. All First Pres men and women are welcome to join in on the discussion at the home of Marcia and Charles Jepsen, 900 2nd St SE #301, at 6:30pm on Monday, January 23. Call 364-2568 for directions. Our book for February is In The Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson, called by one critic the most important book of 2011.
