Meet & Eat began in August 2008 after Joan Force and Deb Sedlacek became aware that the young people with Americorps/VISTA working on flood relief often went without meals. The meal program moved to First Presbyterian in Cedar Rapids in the early summer of 2009 and continues to provide a hot balanced meal each week day at 11:30am to flood relief workers.

Volunteers are always needed to help with food preparation, serving and cleanup. Food and financial donations are also welcome.
