Being at "The Heart of the City", First Presbyterian is committed to opening its building, its resources and its heart to the needs of the larger Cedar Rapids community.  On any given day, you might find various community groups using our facilities to meet and conduct their business.  During the week, Americorp Vista volunteers enjoy lunch and on the weekend those in need can get a hot meal at the Sunday Evening Meals Program.  The Linn Area Community Food Pantry is housed in our basement as well as a Thrift Shop run by the Presbyterian Women.  In addition to these regular outreach activities there are also always seasonal events.
