Disciple Bible Study "Light"

Have you always wanted to participate in DISCIPLE Bible Study, but unable to commit to 34 weeks? Two condensed, yet comprehensive survey courses may accommodate your need to manage your time and your desire to study scripture! Nine weeks in length, each study requires participants to commit to nine weeks of 90 minutes of at-home prep and 75 minutes in group study each Sunday. Participant books are $10 each. Sign-up now for the Old Testament section, the New Testament section or both. Facilitated by Ken Baker, congregation member.
Old Testament: 9 weeks from September 17, 2006
What does it mean to be God's chosen people and heirs of a covenant? Listen afresh to the witness of the Old Testament scriptures that still call for a response of faithful living.
New Testament: 9 weeks from January 7, 2007
Who is Jesus and what is the impact of his teaching for us today? Hear anew or for the first time, the story of Jesus and his call to discipleship and to community.
