Worship and Children
A popular hymn writer of the 18th century wrote, "And infant voices shall proclaim their early blessings on his name."
At First Presbyterian we believe children are able from a very young age to offer their praise to God both individually and as a congregation.
Each Sunday the children are encouraged to worship with their families in the sanctuary and also with their pals in Children's Chapel that occurs during the church school hour.
There is a Children's Sermon incorporated into the Worship Hour that often also captures the imagination of the adults, as well.
Yearly worship education events also help families to understand the beauty, order, and the mystery of the worship experience.
