Children and Service
Every child is a gifted child at First Presbyterian. In our program of children's ministry we do our best to help children recognize their unique gifts and to grow in the development of their gifts to the glory and service of God.
In addition to a weekly coin offering, the children visit and send cards to older members; collect gifts of food, clothing and toys for those in need; participate annually in the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering; and regularly participate in worship as liturgists and musicians.
At First Presbyterian we recognize that children, merely by their presence among us, also share with us the gift of hope for the peaceful and loving world that God intends.
