All Church Fellowship Events
Fellowship Hour
Each Sunday
after worship follow the crowd to Fellowship Hall for conversation,
cookies, coffee, and juice. Members take turns providing and serving in
this
vital ministry for current and prospective members.
Sunday Dinners
Most
often held after worship, these catered or Pot Luck meals are an extension
of the Lord's Table to which all persons are invited.
Holy Day Meals
Many of the days of the Christian year
involve the sharing of a festive meal.
- On Easter we break the Lenten fast
by sharing a delicious brunch.
- Usually on the first Sunday of Advent, following our festival of Advent
preparation, we end the evening with a candlelight dinner.
- On Pentecost Sunday we can be found under a picnic shelter
at Bever Park.
Baseball Trips
During some summers, the minister, who is a baseball fan,
leads trips to see
major league games in nearby cities. We normally travel by charter
bus to see three games in three days in three cities. Destinations
have included Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee,
and Minneapolis.
