Living the Questions: A Congregational Study for Lent

ltq

Beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 17th, and continuing through Easter, all congregation members will have the opportunity to participate in a church-wide small group program that will be complementing our worship themes for Lent.

Contemporary, religious, and secular topics are presented and discussed in an insightful, adult, Christian context. Classes are held downstairs in the Wernimont Room Sundays at 9:00am.

Together  is the theme for Fall 2009 and Winter/Spring 2010.

September 13 through November 29: A New City - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

January 3 through February 7: Justice - "Hate evil, love good, establish justice..."  Amos

April 11 through May 23: Who are We? - When I look at your heavens...you have established, what human beings that you are mindful of them? Psalm 8

Guest speakers will provide different perspectives on the issue of justice, a predominant theme in our scripture and theology as Christians
